King firms lead East Kootenay lumber expansion drive

In November 1904 Kings Lumber Mills manager M B King discusses rising demand and planned centralization of rough lumber production. Plans include Yahk mill startup with 60 000 feet daily capacity, 130 000 feet daily across three mills by December, and a new Yahk plant using modern automated saws and an integrated chip and dust handling system.
