Thousands Celebrate at Cranbrook May 24 Parade and Sports
Cranbrook marked Victoria Day with a large parade led by Lt-Col C H Pollen and the Fernie Bugle Band. A crowd flocked to the agricultural grounds for horse races baseball and athletic events where Wycliffe defeated Wardner and Fernie in a twilight game. An accident occurred in the open race and a dance at the Auditorium capped the day's festivities.
