Word comes that the Rev B P Flewelling is seriously ill with heart affection and must remain quiet for some time. He was moved to Cottage hospital on a Wednesday afternoon for care. The Rev A B Lane conducted three services last Sunday then traveled to Marysville for another service. Archdeacon Beer will lead services next Sunday March 28.

The Knights of Pythias met in Castle hall on Tuesday with a lively debate on saluting foreign flags. Local Cranbrook Play Delights Audiences At Auditorium
The Cranbrook audience enjoyed a two hour diversion Friday as the Ladies Aid of the Methodist Church staged a domestic comedy written by May Be Countryman. Strong performances by Mrs Rakin as the harassed wife and W H Wilson in a difficult debut drew applause, supported by John Venus, Mrs W H Wilson and Mary Ann O Connor among others. The Cranbrook Juvenile Orchestra provided music and the cast received praise for a polished, professional feel and a profitable closing.
