The Marion Oliver mission band of the Presbyterian church staged a successful Friday concert in Cranbrook hall. Thirty one items featured a cradle song with 25 children, girls and boys choruses, and a table of wares sold to raise mission funds. The event, praised by Mrs. H. L. Grady and Mrs. G. D. Carlyle, drew full attendance and was repeated Tuesday evening.
In Fernie, Doctors Bonnell Garner and Asselstine sue the City in the Supreme Court for 2800 dollars. They claim half of funds the city received in December 1922 under the Government Liquor Act, payable to Fernie Hospital, and seek a writ of Mandamus to compel payment.
