After evening service on Sunday Aast the Chinese Mission held a social farewell for Rev. and Mrs. Lee and family. Speeches conveyed appreciation for Mr. Lees work among the Chinese. Alan Graham won the blue ribbon for the den’s scramble, after tying with Staples for the top score amid unsettled weather. Dr. Grea posted 45 for nine holes, and Moodallos Bowness and Little assisted at supper. An expected large crowd attended despite rain, as a friendly match with the Waldo club will be played Monday at Cranbrook. Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Marsh welcomed a daughter.
