Presbyterian Sunday School Picnic Attracts Hundreds
About three hundred attended the Presbyterian Sunday school picnic held near the Rifle Association range on Wednesday afternoon. Cars supplied by owners ferried guests by one o'clock and by two all had arrived. The grounds along St Joseph's creek offered shade as races athletic events and prizes entertained the crowd. A base ball and a football match highlighted the program before basket lunches, prepared by the ladies, were enjoyed. The crowd dispersed around seven o'clock, returning home renewed by fresh air.
