Victoria July 11. Lieut.-Col. M. F. Purney president of the G. W. V. A. of Canada addressed the Canadian Club. Registrar's Office Shuts In 1917 BC Act Amalgamations Move
The Registrar under the Military Service Act BC has orders to close his Vancouver office by the 14th if work permits. Records of about 1000 defaulters from the province will be sent to Regina Saskatchewan to join Western Province files. Communications after the 16th should be directed to Regina and need not be stamped. A wedding gift cheque was presented to Earnest Duffle of Kitchener by Sash and Door Company workers.
