Defrauding Suit Filed by Stratton Venture Link
Denver January 12 Through attorney Harry H Lee the Stratton Independence company filed in federal court a suit for 6 million dollars against the Stratton estate executors and trustees and against Harry Stratton heir at law alleging that mine samples were salted to inflate value from 2 million to 7 million. The Venture Corporation of London is named for a similar salt claim and stockholders seek recovery of money paid at prices 5 10 and 15 in a scheme involving salted ore and deceived investors.
