Quiet Wedding at St Marys Church
On Monday morning February 12 a quiet wedding united Mise Elizabeth Frances Laderoute and Mr Patrick J Smith at St Marys Church. The ceremony at 9 30 was officiated by Rev Father Murphy with Nellie Tolton as bridesmaid and Mrs J E Kennedy singing Oh Promise Me. Guests later hosted a wedding breakfast at Mrs Farrells and the couple left for Spokane for their honeymoon. They will reside in Lumberton where Mr Smith works as a millwright.

Mrs Ruth Collins Dies at 22 After Sleep Sickness
Mrs Ruth Olga Collins wife of A H Collins of Wycliffe died at St Eugene Hospital on Thursday afternoon after being brought in late last week. She leaves a husband and three children. Her mother resides in New Brunswick and will attend the funeral next week. Uncle W Bateman of Moyie is listed as an uncle. The community extends sympathy.
