Ottawa reports Dominion parcel post starts soon with lower Canadian rates than U S service. For a seven pound parcel within 150 miles the Canadian rate is 11 cents versus 34 cents in province and 46 cents if cross provincial. Maximum 11 pounds in Canada. U S zones show progressive rates to 11 pounds across wider distances. Some items not insured and extra 5 cent local fee during early months.

One hundred ninety-one conventions will hold sessions in San Francisco in 1915 with delegates from worldwide civic religious social service education and labor groups among others. Miss Jane Todhunter dies at 20 in Elko BC
Miss Jane Elizabeth Todhunter aged twenty died at St Eugene hospital February 1 1911. Daughter of Mr and Mrs John Todhunter of Elko BC she had lived there ten years. She contracted typhoid fever, relapsed, and died. Former nurse at St Buren hospital. Funeral at F M MacLerson parlors conducted by Rev E P Flewering, interred at Church of Emerald cemetery.
