Death at Sullivan Mine Claims Local Pioneer's Life
William Alexander Chisholm, age near seventy, an outside track worker at the Sullivan Mine, was killed by an electric ore train as he stood near the tunnel mouth. An inquest found death accidental with no blame attached. He was a respected pioneer resident of the Cranbrook Kimberley area, active in a Masonic lodge, and survived by a widow and two sons. Funeral services were held in Kimberley with lodge and church participation.
