Last Regular Meeting of the 1923 City Council
The Cranbrook city council held its final regular session at city hall. The minutes were approved and accounts totaling 9446.63 were paid. The lighting committee proposed rate changes to cut costs and implement a sliding scale for power. The meeting endorsed grants to the Amateur Athletic Association and Salvation Army Children’s Home, and discussed flooding the former skating rink site for free ice. She regained consciousness after aid and was taken home with bruising and swelling around the eyes. Authorities may press charges. precautions urged to prevent sleighing pranks.
