Veterans Association Holds December Meeting at Royal Hotel
The Veterans Association met at the Royal hotel on Saturday evening December 7 with Hon. Vice-President Edgar Sainsbury presiding. A letter from Mr. F. J. Lower offered photographic films of the governor-general's October 5 inspection for printing to benefit the association. A motion approved printing and sale, and Lt. Col. WH. Lowther gave consent for the project. A plan to hold a camp fire with Hoy Scouts was discussed and a committee chaired by Vic. Marchant and Secretary Webb was formed to arrange with Scout Master Dunham and Mr. Russell for a camp at his ranch on Wattsturg road. The next meeting is set for January 4.
