Five Births in Newark Mother Loses Four But Not Five
Newark July 25 Mrs Thomas Renwick a 33 year old Newark confectioner’s wife and mother of three children gave birth to five children yesterday at her Springfield avenue home. Four of the infants two boys and two girls were born alive but died soon after. The fifth infant died about six weeks after conception and its sex could not be determined. The mother is in weak condition but improving and the attending physician Dr Peter F Nolzenbecker expects a swift recovery.
