Masked robbers threaten Asbury home near Veedersburg
Two masked men visited George Asbury's residence four miles southeast of Veedersburg demanding hidden money. Mrs. Asbury said there was none. the assailants abused her and stated they would “lay for him” upon his return. They rode off toward Veedersburg after learning he was at a bank. No clues point to their identity or fate.
