Interurban line to Covington Crawfordsville via Kingman
Chicago engineer J C Hopkins returns from inspection of Covington and Southern railroad project in Indiana. The line will use an individual motor track system in effect an automobile tramway between Covington and Crawfordsville with hourly passenger service and night freight handling. Hopkins says the venture will pay 40 percent profits almost from the start and hopes to complete the first section before snow.

Jos Merryman cut his left thumb badly Monday while killing butcher stock and nearly bled to death before reaching aid. Restoratives were needed to stop the flow and revive him. He is now improving as well as expected.

Ex-Treasurer Randolph Injured After Fall
Harry Randolph, 20% West North Street, fell from the Big Four platform at Crawfordsville Junction. He suffered a fractured collar bone, possible rib injuries, and internal damage after stepping from the train into an unguarded hotel platform. He lay beside the tracks overnight and was found by a hotel employee. He was brought to Danville for treatment and is expected to recover.

Death of Infant Ingram at East Liberty Street
