The Boys Return From River Boating Trip
The boys and their boating party returned from Terre Haute on Thursday afternoon of last week, landing here about o'clock. They reached Terre Haute Monday evening and left Wednesday, stopping for the night at Montezuma. They lived entirely upon the boat and had a fine outing. Between here and Perrysville the river was so low the boat grounded and the boys walked the craft for about a half mile and pushed. The boat went downstream Saturday as the water remained too low for the large craft to operate for excursion purposes.
