L P Orahood was named principal and Seam Roman secretary with discussions on Systematic Methodology Memory Imagination and Thought led by various speakers including Miss Annie Williams E H Boner and Mont Bodine.

Orahood and a discussion of topics including daily registries by Oscar Phobus, compulsory education law and teacher relations by William Bodine, textbooks and first day needs by the Institute, teacher contracts by Joe Martin, and educational organization needs by Lilly OConnell. The trustee urged teachers as topics for the second institute were set, and the meeting adjourned to meet October 25.
