In June 1774 John Day, a clever but ignorant millwright, attempted a twelve hour submerged trial in a watertight box attached to a vessel. The plan failed as planned after 22 June, killing Day, while modern divers learn to manage air pressure, current dangers, and equipment.
By virtue of a certified copy of a decree from Fountain County Circuit Court I will expose at public sale the rents and profits for a term not exceeding seven years of Lot 51 in Covington town now city. If not sold for enough to satisfy the decree I will offer the fee simple of the real estate at the same sale.
