The town eye catches Madigan’s big sale with 16 and 20 head of milch cows and shouts, while public notices mention bank closures on election day. Social items note visits, theater bills, club meetings, travel to Indianapolis, and church rally days along with personal moves and recoveries.
Mrs. W. B. Coleman hosted a Halloween party for about fifty ladies at her Washington street home. Guests wore elaborate costumes with prizes awarded for best masked lady and best comic outfit. Emma Cunningham as a Fiji Islander won first prize. D. E. Wilson as a tramp won second. Out of town guest Mrs. E. M. Monroe of Waynetown attended.
James Madigan announces a public sale at his farm two miles north of Veedersburg on Wednesday November 10 1920 at 10 30 a m The sale lists 56 head of cattle 116 hogs 3 horses and mules a corn crop and farm implements with cash or credit terms and a one year note option A lunch will be served by Osborn Prairie Ladies Aid.

Eight month old Eileen Keller of near Brown Chapel died from hopp ing cough Monday. The funeral was from the home conducted by Rev Kern Wednesday afternoon with interment at Grange Hall.
The mask social at City Hall Saturday night under the Baptist church auspices was a very enjoyable affair. The hall was well decorated with tasteful masks, offering amusements for all and a pleasant social time overall.

Mr Fred Neddeorman of Trewiktort an At Ho and Miss Pella Paley of metyan were married by Rev Kern at the M E parsonage in the city Wednesday morning. They departed by the noon train to Frankfort to establish their future home.
The schedule lists Sunday School at 10:00 a.m. and a special service at 11:00 a.m. for old folks with prizes for the oldest attendees. Evening preaching at 7:30 p.m. marks the start of evangelistic meetings led by Pastor Arthur Harmon with guest Rev. Houghton. Everyone is invited.
