Winona Lake Hosts Summer School For Indiana Teachers
Indiana teachers will attend six week summer training at Winona Lake to meet a 1908 law requiring twelve weeks of training for new teachers. The program, led by C. M. McDaniel and Mrs Eliza Blaker, combines education with vacation activities, and features a large faculty from state and national schools. The plan expands to twelve weeks in 1908 with normal training lines and extensive subject coverage across pedagogy, rural school duties, and arts and sciences.
