The County Commissioners will meet in regular session next Monday. Truant officer candidates listed include J I Duncan the incumbent Earl Shuler and Alfred Parker. In other notes M Board Lee Allen from Indianapolis Ruie Dunny visited Veedersburg and Auditor Will Gray spent a day in Indianapolis. Mrs Wil Seaman remains ill with consumption and little hope of recovery.

Hon Manford Schoonover of Garret Katsa visited his uncle Judge Schoonover over Sunday. Formerly from Attica, he moved to Garnett in 1880, practiced law, and became associated with the Garnett Times. He is a noted temperance advocate and served on the states Appellate Court.
George D. Coox has purchased the Steel drug store in Crawfordsville and will move there when arrangements are made. Mr. Cook sold his business last fall and has been seeking a new location. Locals in Covington regret the coming departure and wish them well.
Mike Foley will address Covington residents in the courtroom at 7 30 Sunday evening. The event is a union citizens meeting with good music promised. Everyone in town is invited and urged to attend.
