The Indiana Odd Fellows show six months to December 31 1904 gains in 11 lodges and 474 members to a total of 6320. Relief totaling 120 772 for six months and 237 553.20 for the year, with total resources at 5 287 223.41 and indebtedness 415 272.65 leaving net resources 2 871 950.76.

Indiana coroner cites end of grave robbing by board

In a speech before the Indiana Funeral Directors convention in Indianapolis Coroner Tutewiler explained that the state anatomical board had ended grave robbing. He noted more bodies were offered to colleges than needed and that a county society refused a recently offered body as unusable.

The Indiana Wool Dealers' Association and M Herzog of Leader clash over wool prices. Herzog not a member, initially set 25 cents a pound, then raised to 30 and 42 cents after association's men entered his territory. Covington stands as a major regional market. Herzog operates a 200000 pound capacity warehouse and has bought 50000 pounds this year, with 150000 pounds bought last year.
