Board of Review reports extensive assessment changes in 1899
The County Board of Review met in the County Auditor's office on June 18 1899 with members Wright Ferguson Luke Witkey and Mentzer reporting numerous adjustments. The roll shows many assessments lowered or raised by the board across Veedersburg Covington Davis Shawnee Van Buren Troy and Cain townships. Several mill values and land parcels were altered and Veedersburg street frontages and public utilities revalued.
