The Grocer, W F Dochtermann, says on January 30 the store will switch to a cash system with buy for cash and sell for cash. It promises lowest wholesale prices and big discounts leading to lower consumer prices and urges customers to inspect goods for extremely low prices after January 20 at North 4th Street.
Mary E Harden received notice that George Galloway’s pension claim for re issue and increase was approved arrears totaling over 2000 with 17 dollars monthly. Galloway had been moved to Lafayette Soldiers Home and died the night before. The government will refund the amount to the treasury. He left a estranged wife and several children without clear locations.
