Transition of Fountain County treasurer officers ends
On Saturday the commissioners settled with Harry C. Martin and noon the treasurer’s books were turned over to the new treasurer Wall Luke and his deputy Chas Bright. Luke is well known in Fountain county and in Gowington and is expected to provide excellent service. Deputy Bright is also well regarded and with them in charge the county’s financial affairs should be well managed. Martin, the Republican incumbent, leaves fondly remembered for faithful and efficient service amid many friends, though his duties are now completed. If you want a good thing it cost all at Cook's drug store.
