Heirs of Miles Odle appeal a probate ruling over Dr. A L Brobeck 1000 bill for last illness care. The estate paid 4100 but the doctor refused the amount. Danville probate judge held the bill not exorbitant and an appeal to circuit court was requested.
Frank M. Chenoweth guardian announces a court ordered sale of estate in Fountain County Indiana. The 160 acre property includes parts of sections 21 22 23 in township 21 north range 7 west with undivided one twenty eighth share, offered at private sale not less than appraised value. Sale date January 24 1821 at 10 AM at William N White law office Covington. Cash in hand subject to court approval.

A Sunday noon blaze in the old corner brick room of Maines Second Hand Store on the square started by an unprotected stove pipe through the floor. Fire damaged joists and a large floor section, with heavy smoke and water damage to the upper part of the building owned by Charles A. Morgan. Insurance covers the loss. fire department did excellent work.
Florence M Pittser of Hillsboro Indiana married Mart Kimbrell of Wingate in a noon ceremony at the Pittser home. Rev Samuels of Wingate officiated. Attendants included Georgia Pittser as ring bearer and Beulah Ferguson as bridesmaid.
