Dreyfus to visit Balsam Lake farm for Co op Month kickoff
Gov. Lee Dreyfus will visit the Randall dairy farm at Balsam Lake on Sept. 15 for a Day on the Farm marking the October Co op Month kickoff. An 11 a.m. farm tour precedes remarks by the Randalls, Rod Nilsestuen and Phil Hein, with the governor signing the 1981 Co op Month proclamation at 11:35 a.m. A noon chicken barbecue follows allowing attendees to meet Dreyfus and state cooperative leaders.
