AMPI to leave National Milk Producers Federation decision
AMPI directors voted August 14 to withdraw from the National Milk Producers Federation over differences on dairy price support in the new four year farm bill. AMPI aims for 80 percent parity while the federation backs 75 to 90 percent with semiannual adjustments amid Reagan budget cuts.
