Happy Times 4-H Club Promotes Learn by Doing in Pepin County
In Pepin County the Happy Times 4-H Club, part of the special education class at Pepin School District, combines 4-H projects with schoolwork. Led by Mrs. Floyd Claflin for 18 years, the club has 11 members aged 8 to 14, with 10 students in the class this year. The program emphasizes health safety and personal care as part of its learning by doing approach.
