State ag board approves reduced vaccine doses for calves
Wisconsin agriculture board votes 5 to 1 to permit reduced dosage for brucellosis vaccine in calves aged 4 to 6 months, with the new method potentially available by fall and co ordination with federal efforts. Immunity nears standard level, and 17 other states have adopted the approach. the board also discussed budget cuts and other issues, including rabies clinics and farm policy measures.
