4-H horse and dog training and related county meetings
The Chippewa County 4-H schedule lists English horse project training centers at Rice Lake Romar and fairground Linder and Rolling Hills centers with times 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Dog obedience training runs Thursdays May 28 and June 4 at Tourist Park Mondovi. Also due June 1 by 5 p.m. are soil and water conservation poster contest entries at the courthouse annex with contact 723-9195. A SWCD tour is set for June 2 at 9:30 a.m. plus 4-H dairy workout May 28 at 8 p.m. at Jack Hughes farm. June Dairy Month committee meets May 28 at 8 p.m. at Bank of Menomonie.
