Prices received by Wisconsin farmers rose in April led by field crops while costs for purchased inputs gained more, national indices show. Milk cows fell to 1200 per head, beef cattle and lambs hit multi year highs, and eggs and other commodities fluctuated amid broader farm income projections for 1981.

Nugget Lake County Park spanning 752 acres with a 116 acre lake and 58 unit campground opens four miles north of Plum City and two miles east of Highway 183 per Pierce County resource agent Ed Hass. Entrance fees are 50 cents daily per vehicle and five dollars for a season sticker. Camping costs two fifty per day or three fifty for one of 21 electrical hookups. Seniors over 65 enter free. Canoes are available for hourly rental on the lake where only electric trolling motors are allowed. Canoe rental is one dollar for the first hour and seventy five cents for subsequent hours. The park provides picnicking swimming areas a playground several miles of hiking trails and fishing.
