Dairy Barn Fire Forces Rebuild At Eau Claire Farm
In Eau Claire, the Drinkman dairy operation suffered a major blaze on April 25 that destroyed a large pole barn milking parlor and equipment. Despite losses estimated around 250000 dollars, Leroy Drinkman plans to rebuild while maintaining a 575 head herd and restoring milking to a three daily schedule. Neighbors and Pleasant Valley 4-H members aided in cleanup as firefighters continue to investigate the cause and officials assess damage.
