Gravity manure system pioneer on 100 acre Melrose farm
Jerry Radcliffe and his wife Rose run 72 acres of the original 100 acre farm near Melrose. Since 1964 they have used a gravity manure system with no moving parts, diverting liquid manure by slope into a storage lagoon and tank, avoiding pumps and electricity while maintaining clean barns and strong soil health.
