Trempealeau Names New 4-H Agent Nancy Krull
Nancy Krull will start March 9 as Trempealeau County 4-H and youth agent, based in Whitehall with an office in the courthouse extension. A UW River Falls graduate, she earned a bachelor of science in agriculture with a major in animal science and a farm management minor, and held Dairy Club and Food Service Committee roles. She grew up near Marinette as a 4-H member for 10 years and earned Rural Rehabilitation, River Falls Foundation, and Public Service scholarships.

The Parish 5 Jersey Breeders met to elect officers and plan the year. Earl Pellett of Menomonie was named president, Bob Vollendorf of Eau Claire vice president, and Marvelle Haeuser of Cochrane secretary treasurer. Merlin Haeuser of Cochrane was named Wisconsin Jersey Breeder of the Year nominee with Dawn Schumacher of Eau Claire as junior nominee. The Parish 5 picnic is set for August 16 at the Glenn Olson farm in Ridgeland.
