DNR Asked to Prosecute More Illegal Dredging in Jackson County

State Public Intervenor Peter Peshek and attorney Kathleen Falk say additional ditching has occurred on 7,600 acres owned by Roland and William Huebner in Bear Bluff Town, potentially violating a hearing examiner order. They briefed Deputy DNR Secretary Andrew Damon on the matter.

4-H horse clinic set for Friday in Neillsville

A 4-H horse clinic will be held June 29 at the Clark County fair ground in Neillsville from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Barbara Johnson of Wisconsin Rapids leads the session. Participants are urged to bring an animal for on horseback instruction. The fee is $2 per participant, lunch included. non participants pay $2. No advance registration is required.
