Farm Progress Family Living Tent Health Talks Begin July 16
Visitors learn about family relationships nutrition exercise and mental attitude at the Farm Progress Family Living Tent during a three day program starting Tuesday July 16. Exhibitors on Stage at 9 15 a m features demonstrations by Fond du Lac County Extension agents and speakers including Nan Baumbartner Greg Matisik Tom Bychinski and Tom Jadin. Riverside Players perform at 1 15 p m and host families will take the stage while a light hearted session on parenting and substance abuse from Winnebago Mental Health Institute closes the day.

Halley's Comet Oversold Says Wisconsin Astronomer
University of Wisconsin Stevens Point planetarium director Mark Bernstein says Halley’s Comet will appear only as a small object to naked eyes when it passes Wisconsin in December, noting the event has been oversold.
