Recall Vote Likely In Washington Town Board Fight
Eau Claire County officials Kevin Piper and Steven Rassbach face recall after petitions claiming failure to inform voters about a 2.75 million loan plan. Judge Thomas Barland ruled the recall in order and certified the election, with about 800 to 900 signatures per official. The trio had offered no defense at the hearing. date tentatively set for August 10.
