Wisconsin eyes state bid for dairy breed HQs in Madison
Wisconsin agriculture officials press a plan to lure the five major dairy breed associations to Madison by offering a consolidated headquarters to rival Kentucky’s Louisville proposal. Brown Swiss heads already in Beloit, with Holstein in Brattleboro not seeking move. Breeds keep herd books and journals, while offices in one building could cut costs and standardize services.
