Beef signups begin Monday for national referendum
Area ASCS office managers clarified voting procedures for the beef referendum. Farmers must register to vote in person or by mail at their county ASCS office between June 6 and 17 to be eligible for the July 5 to 15 voting period. Each production entity has one vote, with separate eligibility for 4 H or FFA members who are producers. Local offices will post daily registration lists from June 6 to 17, with a final list on June 22.
