Midelfort Clinic: Eau Claire medical team grows strong

The Midelfort Clinic in Eau Claire traces its roots to 1897 with Dr. Christian H. C. Midelfart and formal partnerships starting in 1926. Today it employs 237 staff including 48 doctors across 16 specialties in a three story south side building, with satellites in Barron, Cameron, Chetek and a planned Fall Creek site. Peter Midelfart, son of the founder, served as clinic president 1939 1978 and helped guide its expansion.
