Quilts Presented by Chippewa County Homemakers
Chippewa County Extension Homemakers presented quilts to Judy Gilles of the Social Services department. Lorraine Kragness and Francis Goulet led the effort with 24 clubs each contributing one quilt. The project aims to help under privileged families, with a May 1 target date and clubs urged to finish early if possible. Some groups are already making a second quilt and clubs can still submit quilts.
