State to update soil and forage testing services
Craig R. Simson of the state soils lab at Marshfield outlined changes in soil plant and forage testing services to county agents area fertilizer dealers and crop consultants. A new infrared forage analyzer and a mobile testing unit are being calibrated and will serve western Wisconsin counties monthly with rapid eight second sample reading and drying as the longest step.
