Grain farmer uses instant market updates to time sales
Herb Gratt, a grain farmer with 1 550 acres in storage and 950 acres of custom work, uses Pro Farmer Instant Update on a TV linked terminal to track world grain markets. He moved 47 000 bushels in one day and credits timely data for top prices, while noting costs of phone and data access and the service’s global market staff.
