Wisconsin Dairies delegates back promotion plan

Delegates from Wisconsin Dairies Districts 13 14 18 and 19 voted their support for a 5 cent checkoff dairy promotions program and bloc voting. Delegates from Districts 15 16 17 and 44 also backed the promotions plan in Turtle Lake, with meetings Dec 6 to 15. The bloc voting would let the cooperative register the majority view, not individual votes, as the referendum targets 21 000 to 22 000 producer votes.
