State seeks SBA loans for Martell policyholders
Wisconsin lawmakers urge federal help for Martell Mutual policyholders facing 300 percent assessments after the insurer’s collapse and July wind storms. Rep. River Falls Man Honored By Extension Fraternity
Ray Anderson of River Falls received the Friend of Extension award at Epsilon Sigma Phi's 50th annual meeting in Stevens Point. A leader in county and state committees, he helped push an amendment to ensure adequate salary funding for the Wisconsin Cooperative Extension Service in 1981. Anderson chairs several UW River Falls bodies and is active in the Democratic Party. Also named were Wisconsin Honey Producers Association 1981 officers led by Robert Steinhorst of Baraboo.
