Two Wisconsin town officials ousted in recall election
In Eau Claire County the Town of Washington recalled Chairman Kevin Piper and Supervisor Steve Rassbach after opposition to a $2.75 million capital-improvements loan. Ronald Funk and Ronald Farmer defeated the incumbents, with about 1,107 of 3,500 voters casting ballots. Recalls trigger recount requests amid calls for monitoring recall activity statewide.
