Sheep Producers to Vote On Lamb Wool Promotion Plan
United producers will decide in Aug 16 27 referendum whether to raise the 2 percent wool deduction and 12 cent per hundredweight lamb deduction to 4 cents and 20 cents. The higher deductions would fund ASCP Council promotion efforts from 1983 85 and 1982 wool marketings. Ballots distributed via county ASCS offices as producers who marketed wool and unshorn lambs apply for incentive payments.
