Buffalo County Fair history book funded and published

Prices Hold Steady at Buffalo County Livestock Auction
The Buffalo County Fair meat animal sale saw 104 head auctioned for a gross of $53,536, higher than last year but with fewer animals. Grand champion steer Kathy Flury sold for $1.65 a pound to Alma Farmers Union Cooperative, reserve steer Bill Hunger at $1.00 from Garden Valley Co-op, and Jeff Owen’s grand champion hog at $2.55 a pound to Durand Skelgas, among other results with several lambs and reserves sold to Mondovi Co-op Equity and Baker Shoes of Winona.
